this is gonna be a post wif photos from my japan trip! it was great fun being with the family and enjoying time together in japan. the food was fantastic. i enjoyed myself tremendously. ok, i'll let the pics do the toking. =)

here's me in a kimono. i noe i dun really look japanese, but hu could resist that lovely kimono? chiooo! (the kimono, not me. hee hee~)

we were at a resort at atami, which is an hour away from tokyo by shinkansen (bullet train). this is our hotel room, wif us wearing yukatas, which were provided by the hotel. we had an onsen (hot spring bath) at our hotel, so we went there every night! super shiok i tell u. and no, i dun have pics of the onsen to show u, coz every one doesn't wear clothes to the baths. haha.. and yes, we get split up according to ur sex. *grin*

took this on the first day we arrived. wanted to show u guys how tiny the place was. u noe where the table is? that's where my mum and i slept on futons. haha.. we were quite amazed at the size of the room. oh.. but the toilet is super high tech! they have the bidet thingy that squirts water on ur butt to clean it, n nice warm seats. shiok larh.

ok. here's the story and y i put this pic up. we almost din make it back to singapore! we were supposed to catch the 6:30pm flight back to sg, but we decided to check in much earlier den go to a nearby city to haf a look-see. so we headed to sakura city which was jus a few stops away by shinkansen (bullet train). after taking a look at the samurai houses, we decided to head back to the airport to shop at the airport mall. so we asked the station master at station control which train to take to narita airport. and he told us platform 2. now we boarded the train and it moved off. den at this stop the train stopped for a really really long time and din move. then after that it started moving off. den my parents had an urge to ask the pple beside them: does this train go to narita airport? AND NO! it din! so happened that no one near us on the train understood or could speak in english! so they couldn't really understand us. i tried speaking to the guy across me wif my very limited japanese, and managed to get a taxi phone no. from him. aiyoh.. but he was trying to tell us stuff, but din understand him.

now when we alighted at the next stop, it was like sum kinda ulu place larh. countryside, no station control. jus a station, wif nothing!! my parents stopped a guy at the station, and asked him what time the next train heading back the other way would come. (note: it was 4 plus) and thank God that guy understood english. he told us the next train wld come only at 5:33pm!! we almost died when we heard that, coz we needed 2 fly off at 6:30pm!

thank God for angels. the guy we were toking to took a look at us and our desperate faces, and told us to get into his car. he drove my entire family to narita city. (at break neck speed, btw. driving 90km/h at a 30km/h speed limit, wif winding roads, is not a gd idea) my poor mum was super freaked out! she was hanging onto his seat belt for dear life.

now when we go to narita city, he drove us as fast as he could to the train station. we arrived jus in time to buy the train tix and run towards to the train. (the pic has the train tix that saved us) my mum was soo kan cheong that she jus went thru the gentry w/out putting the train tix thru. the station master was yelling at us larh! haha.. and i told my bro to juz jump over the gentry, coz we din wanna miss the train.

anyway, thank God for his providence and mercy. we arrived at the airport juz in time to board the plane! so we made it back to singapore safe and sound. =)
