salmon run
it was a wet, soggy, rainy day. the sky was crying and sobbing. gosh. what a day for a road trip to see scenary. haha.. obviously we din manage to see much. managed to see the salmon though we were soaked by the time we got back to the car. the salmon are soo amazing. they swim from the sea to their place of birth (freshwater), against the current. it takes them perhaps 10 days of hard swimming to get there. the females dig a hole maybe 1/2 a metre deep and lay her eggs. the males hover arnd trying to see if they can fertilize the eggs. then the salmon die of exhaustion. it juz amazes me whenever i think abt it.

saw the salmon at goldstream. there was this free nature house thing there

hahah.. i seem to always see toads rite. (act i dunno if this is a toad or a frog.)

hahah.. they had this pile of bones there so i couldn't resist grabbing one to 'kiss'

look at how soaked we were!! like a couple of wet dogs haha

this is where they filmed x men 3! cool ah. it's actually at a university.

wendy's! we all wanted to try it since we've heard nothing but good things abt it. but it turned out pretty normal, i'd say.
