vancouver!!

whoaa..! i juz had a really really hectic and tiring 2 days! to make a long story short, we basically had a snowball effect going to vancouver and ended up taking up 8 hours to get there, when usually it wouldn't. our bus going to the ferry terminal from victoria was delayed and we missed the 11am ferry to vancouver. had to wait for the 1pm ferry instead. =( den as a result of that we missed the next bus at the vancouver ferry terminal. u get my drift? haha.. nvm lar. it was interesting in a way.

God was super gracious to me. thank God. i went off earlier from vancouver bcoz i had to. coz i stay on campus and i haf to take two buses to get back on campus. and if i had gone on the 9pm ferry back to victoria, i would haf been stranded. so yes, i travelled on the bus alone from the suspension bridge back to victoria. although i met my new found mexican fren on the way. haha.. so i wasn't really alone. oh. i say God was gracious bcoz i had to take: 1 bus --> 1 sea bus --> 2 buses --> ferry terminal at vancouver --> bus back to uvic! so yeahhh.. i managed to catch all the buses by the skin of my teeth. like, if i had been 2 mins later i wouldn't haf caught the bus. *phew*

had a really exciting time, as u can see. haha.. it was hectic, it was fun, it was something i dun wanna do everytime. once in awhile is fine, but not all the time. haha.. juz take a look at the pics. i'll let them tell you everything i did. =)


i couldn't resist posting this up. every time i take the ferry across from vancouver/victoria, it's juz breath taking.

see our sad faces? that's coz we took a cab to this bus terminal, and later found out we had to wait 40 mins more for our bus. so basically we wasted our money.


although we reached vancouver really really late, we still went to explore abit of it at nite. this is the harbour look out point over looking vancouver. it is this tall structure where u take a lift up all the waeeee...

SUSHI! i have not had REAL sushi for the longest time. make it more than 2 months. *drools* and this place we went to had REALLY good sushi. look at that spread! woohoo~


gastown! the entire length of gastown was soo smokey. think the smoke was coming from this clock. it was a really cool steam clock, that made music every 15 mins. it had a really cool mechanism thingy that i dun understand. *grin*


haha! FOG! it was sooo foggy in the morning i juz couldn't resist taking a pic! whoops. forgif my excitement over fog, but it's nt like i've encountered it before. haha...


this is how i imagine Jesus coming down again. *grin* whoops. but it'll be more majestic i'm sure. much more than the human mind can imagine. oh, this was taken at stanley park. it's quite a nice park. i would love to run there in the morning.


we went to the vancouver aquarium! saw the dolphin and the buluga whale show. gorgeous animals! this is the underwater view of a dolphin!


sea otter! this one was SOOO cute!! it was washing and washing itself. i couldn't resist it, so i also took a video of it doing that. haha..


and that's the buluga whale. (gosh i hope i'm spelling this whale correctly) it's all white coz it's from the arctic. all that snow and all u see.

stanley park! i juz love autumn, the leaves all haf different varying shades of colour which makes things so much more interesting!


stanley park again! the leaves make me feel like running abt and throwing them in the air. (i would haf done it too, if i had more time) haha..


well we walked along the coastline of vancouver to get to our seabus terminal. it was a truly wonderful sight.

finally! the lynn canyon suspension bridge! it was the free one, unlike capilano which is the one where u gotta pay. haha..


the suspension bridge! it was surprisingly short and as a result, i din find it tat scary. haha. but it still had a really nice view of the valley below. =)
