jap lunch
had quite a gd jap lunch wif some of my colleagues last week (i think). there's this jap restaurant @ the esplanade. maybe i shld have taken pics of the food. one thing bad tho: i had to wait almost an hour for my food! goodness. almost died of hunger.

uvic gathering!
met my fav babes tt went to uvic wif me 4 exchange. we ate at shokudo @ raffles city. had a great time catching up & chatting. think we sat there for a gd 4.5 hrs straight! muahaha.. only left after the waitress gave us the dirty eye twice! *grin*
i miss uvic! i miss being on exchange! i miss being a student! ah well.. =)

yellowstone pics - part one!
hi guys! i met up wif my fren tt was @ yellowstone wif me during my work & travel usa program. gosh, i juz HAD to dig up my pics to look thru again. i was once again struck by the amazing scenary and gorgeous sights i saw. so i'm sharing it wif u guys! i'm nt going to bother commenting, but this is juz the 1st installment. *grin* the place is lovely! (& yes, i was much younger. haha..)
taken during my jackson tour.. check out the view!! jackson hole! =) can't rem where this was. either cody or signal moutain.

bear bear! dun worry.. we were far away from it. & in a car. haha..



we went white water rafting!super duper high & brr.. cold. but it was FUN! took this during the yellowstone circle of fire tour.
during one of our many treks. this was the trek to fairy falls in yellowstone.

bintan wif my fav babes!
ok, so i must confess. i've been super duper lazy ever since i started work. juz cant seem to blog. but i decided to blog abt my bintan trip! went wif 2 of my fav babes: jane and xiujun! went there during the mayday weekend, 4 days 3 nites of doing absolutely nothing. the scenary was gorgeous, and the company fantastic. enjoy the pics! some are from xiujun's camera, hope she doesn't mind. =)

the 3 of us painted our nails the last nite. it was fun doing girly stuff tog. =)

we trudged. yes. trudged. coz the sand was awful. not like a beach. it was more like mud.

we sat in a tuk tuk kinda thing. the kind pple there drove us arnd to the sister resort anytime we wanted. which was nice
we stayed here, but nt at those atap places. we had a 'villa' to ourselves.
spa! one session cost us abt $15? super duper cheap lar.
during low tide, we'd see lumps of watever this gross thing is everywhere on the beach. no clue what it is.
all ritey. that's all. i'm lazy. we spent very little, considering we were there for 4 days. i'm glad i went there for some R&R. it was wonderful doing nothing. =)

the hula girls + 2 guys! =)
sorry for nt updating for donkey years! haha.. been so shagged out at work that i juz wanna do nothing when i get back home.
juz had my dnd on friday. had a blast! was actually part of the grand opening dance act wif sheryl. i dun haf the pics frm the actual dnd yet, will upload them when i actually get them. =)

this was taken during one of our practices. we actually met on a sunday!! hardworking hor~

on the dnd day itself. we were resting b4 the actual event in one of the shangri-la rooms. i love their beds. super duper shiok~

took this during the full dress rehearsal. love these guys. gonna miss seeing them so often. puay joo, the babe in the center choreographed the dance and taught us really well! liyana (the one on the extreme left) is a fantastic dancer wif great groove

ratatouille & eden cafe!
watched ratatouille on sunday.. it's quite a gd movie. my mummy was the best! she gave us her tix to the show when she heard tt i wanted to watch the show. n guess wad.. it was for fund raising for the bmsg, we had like the best seats ever!! it was rite at the back.. in the center.. and the seats was like a sofa!!! check out the roomy space we had. (1st time i cld stretch my legs like that in a movie!!)

den we went to eden cafe @ club street for dinner. fantastic ambience, great personal service from the owner. the food is rather cool. u can actually ask for a personlized meal if u pre-order 2 days in advance. pity we din. but i took pics of the food! =)
the mussels were beyond yummy!
they were cheesy.. abit spicey... *drool*
eugene had the black sesame pasta. apparently they mix black sesame with the pasta, they make the pasta themselves. it had an interesting taste.
joshua had the chilli crab pasta. rather shiok, but the chilli wasn't hot enuff.
joshua's mum had sum asian pasta thingy (cant rem the name) - it really had an interesting taste. very nice! dunno hw to explain it, it had some spice or smth.
loved my own pasta - dory mushroom pasta. the cream sauce was done super duper well. and they gave me so much dory! i was happily woofing down my pasta.
well, really liked that place. my only gripe is that we went when the place was rather crowded, and so since they cook everything on the spot, we had to wait rather long. but my pasta was well worth the wait. =)
